Thankful Thursdays

Inspired by National Philanthropy Day, our team at Prairie Sun Brewery has decided to dedicate one day a week to give back to our community. Every Thursday, $1 from every pint/growler sold will go to a local charity or non profit.

Every first friday of the month a firkin, or old style keg, is donated to a Local Non Profit to raise money for their organization.   In tradiotional style, the firkin is smashed open by a representative of the Non profit and the beer shoots out everywhere.  The Firkins are crafted by our firkin Master, Daniel Rommens.  He uses our main beers as a base and then adds special ingredients to them to make each one unique for that organization.  If you have a non profit interested in becoming a recipient, please reach out to Fionn Maccools for more information and Make sure to follow Fionn Maccools for this months firkin event info.

Every Fall we brew a colabortaive brew with the people of saskatoon and the surrounding area. Everyone is encouraged to take part in the creation of this beer by bringing in fresh picked hops from their back yards, back allys, etc.  The West Coast Style IPA is given a delcious local twist by hopping it with all Saskatchewan hops.

Caribrew is a new project planning to be launched in April 2017 in support of CPAWS and our beloved Canadian Caribou. Stay tuned for details of the launch and how to get involved.
